Rebuild. Rarely does a structure stir such overwhelming emotion. Symbolic of our nation’s resolve in the face of tragedy, One World Trade Center opened its doors, and 25 floors of office space, to our Publishing Client in 2014. The teamwork and coordination required to move thousands of employees from Midtown Manhattan to this brand new edifice is a monumental undertaking. With great pride and determination, all project team members, from developers to facilities managers and architects to installers, worked toward a common goal — the World Trade Center is once again open for business. Perimeter open plan workstations were built from custom Knoll Reff products and Knoll cubicles, while executive office furniture was designed to meet the style and configuration mandated for each unique publication. Specialty areas, such as fashion closets, received extra attention to ensure organization without sacrificing visual appeal.
It is an honor and privilege to have contributed in some small way to the new One World Trade Center — and all it represents.
